1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TimelineX ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TimelineX is a web-based platform that allows users to create, visualize, and share interactive timelines. Features vary by subscription plan.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at support@timelinex.app of any unauthorized use.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard; your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to: (a) violate any laws or regulations; (b) upload harmful, defamatory, or infringing content; (c) attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems; (d) use automated means to scrape or abuse the Service.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting content, you grant TimelineX a worldwide, non-exclusive license to store and display it for the purpose of operating the Service. We do not sell your content to third parties.

7. Intellectual Property

TimelineX and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by TimelineX and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Service without express written permission.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TimelineX shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
